How to Use

The Ritual — Oro is an Elixir de Parfum: richer and slower than an eau de parfum. A little is the whole ritual.

1. Prepare the skin. Apply after a warm shower, on skin that is clean and softly moisturized. An unscented lotion gives the parfum something to hold on to. On dry skin, fragrance fades faster.

2. Find the pulse points. These are the places where the skin runs warm: the inner wrists, the hollow of the throat, and behind the ears. Hold the bottle a hand’s width away (15–20 cm). For day, press once at the throat and once on an inner wrist. For evening, add a third press behind the ear or at the inner elbow. Warmth carries the scent and lets it unfold slowly through the day.

3. Never rub. Rubbing crushes the bright top notes of bergamot and saffron. Let the parfum dry on its own and settle into its amber-woods heart.

4. Leave a trail. Mist once into the air and step through it, or once over your clothing (test delicate fabrics first). You can also mist a hairbrush and draw it through the ends of your hair.

Patch-test 24 hours before first use. Discontinue if irritation occurs.
